One of my very best friends, Jenn, asked me to help her out with her new office space. As, I am between jobs, and having trouble filling my days, I was MORE than happy to help. Jenn, lives in VA Beach, and loves the beach! She always has, and that was the first thing that came to my mind when I thought of designing her office. She said she like neutral tones, and her space is pretty much a blank canvas. See below. (click to enlarge)
I know that a lot of us sit in cubicles, can't see out the window, and are forced to sit in an environment that isn't really about "us", other than a few pictures we put on our desk. Jenn is lucky she gets to create her on little space. For her I wanted to create a simple, spa-esque, subtly beach themed office. Below you can see some inspirational images I gathered to get started.
The first palette is a little more neutral. I chose the blue grey rug to bring some color down to the floor, and then picked the other pieces to be mostly sandy neutrals, with just a light pop in the art work.
